Abstract
The Kaharingan Hindu Religion states that marriage ceremonies are sacred that must be carried out by every couple who will live in a household. Every couple who wants to form a household must be aware of their responsibilities as husband and wife and the most important thing is how the husband and wife are able to prioritize religious teachings, especially if they want to get married. Thus it is clear that the goal of marriage according to the Hindu Kaharingan religion is that they want to run a life after marriage, they are able to live their lives in order to build their household in a large house into a happy and prosperous household. The most important purpose of marriage is the realization of a happy family, happiness and eternity must be fostered all the time. Specifically panganten manyaki is a series of marriage ceremonies according to the Kaharingan Hindu religion where the bride and groom sit on a gong (garantung) while the basir / cleric performs manyaki which is to smear the blood of chickens or pigs to the bride and groom accompanied by prayers by the clergy aiming to the welfare of the bride and groom. Furthermore, the marriage ceremony will create a new kinship system that may not have been known to each other before, so after the marriage ceremony they will become a large new family, because marriage not only unites men and women but unites all members family into one unit.
